Calman has had an extraordinarily successful comedy career since she quit her job as a corporate lawyer 15 years ago. Her first cruise of the BBC new comedy Awards in 2005 alsofeatured wife. She heads to Sandworld to learn how to make the perfect sandcastle and helps feed the cygnets in a colony of mute swans. Susan Calman was the semi-finalist of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2005 and was a finalist in another show, the Funny Women competition (2006).
