Michael McLeod Of Washington, DC passed away September 8, 2021 at George Washington Hospital in Washington, DC. All rights reserved. He was born December 31, 1949, in Auburn, NY to the late Josiah and Lola McLeod. He was a talented artist, particularly as a sculptor and printmaker, but was also interested in other peoples art. Survived by mother, Susan Shappell (Bill) of Harris; father, Ron McLeod (Mary Lach) of Edina; brother, Dan McLeod (Kelli) of St Paul; sister, Kari McLeod; niece, Cheyanne Michaelson of North Branch. He met his wife Yvette McLeod in 1996 in Atlanta, GA and married the following year on July 17th, 1997, where they maintained a special bond for 25 years.


He leaves a legacy in his daughters, Loretta Ruffin (Tim); Catherine Taliaferro (Lamar) and Ashley Devone (Terrence).
